Ricardo Bak Gordon, born in Lisbon in 1967, is a renowned Portuguese architect celebrated for his sensitive approach to context and culture in architecture. After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Lisbon in 1990, he founded Bak Gordon Arquitectos in 2002. His work spans residential, educational, and cultural buildings, with notable projects like the Portugal Pavilion at Expo Zaragoza and the National Coach Museum in Lisbon.
Bak Gordon’s architecture is known for its careful balance between interior and exterior spaces, often emphasizing materiality and light.
